Upload your glossary from Excel
If you keep your terminology in a spreadsheet, you can now upload it just as it is.
How it works
- Go to My Terms and open the glossary where you want to load the terms.
- Upload your spreadsheet file.
- Review the preview of detected terms and confirm.
How the file should be organized
- First column: the term in the source language.
- Second column: its translation.
- Third column (optional): a note or usage clarification.
If the first row contains the column titles, it's recognized as a header and won't be imported as a term.
FAQ
What if my file has more columns? Only the first three are used; the rest are ignored.
Will it overwrite terms I already had? No — duplicates are skipped and the rest are added.
How many terms can I upload at once? Glossaries with tens of thousands of terms upload without any issue.
