More accurate transcription, twice as fast

Since October 28, reading your documents is faster and makes fewer mistakes. It's what turns a scan, a photo or a handwritten document into editable text, and what rebuilds PDFs in Options 2 and 3.

Review · the original and its transcription, side by side

What you'll notice

  • Less waiting. Each page is transcribed in about 16 seconds, compared with about 50 before. With a multi-page document, you get to Review much sooner.
  • Fewer errors. In our blind tests with real pages (handwritten documents, records with seals and signatures, photos, forms with checkboxes, texts in Cyrillic or Korean), misread names, figures and dates fell to less than a quarter of what they were.
  • Less guesswork. Anything that can't be read with certainty, like a blurry number on a seal, is marked for you to confirm in Verify document instead of being made up.

How it works

You don't have to do anything: it works on all new orders, both translation and layout.

Good to know

  • The price doesn't change: it's still 1 credit per page.
  • Orders that were already transcribed don't change.
  • The review is still yours. Look especially carefully at long handwritten numbers, such as ID, registry or license numbers: they're the hardest thing to read in any document.

And there's more

Some PDFs store certain joined letters, like “fi” or “ti”, with a gap in the middle. Those words no longer come out split: “Transi on” is “Transition” again.

When to use it

Always, but you'll notice it most with handwritten documents, old documents and records full of figures.
