Traducción pública argentina (CTPCBA)
If you're a sworn translator (traductor público) in Argentina, EZDocuAI includes a format template for traducción pública argentina, the Argentine sworn (public) translation, that follows the rules of the Colegio de Traductores Públicos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (CTPCBA). There are two versions, which only differ in the font: Traducción Pública — Argentina (Arial 12) and Traducción Pública — Argentina (Times New Roman 12). They're in Formatting, under EZDocu templates, with the ✓ Verified badge.
What the template does

| Element | How it comes out |
|---|---|
| Paper | A4, with 3 cm margins on the sides and 2.5 cm at the top and bottom. 1.5 line spacing and justified text |
| Opening | “TRADUCCIÓN PÚBLICA”, underlined, as the first line of page 1 |
| Filler dashes | The last line of each paragraph is filled with dashes up to the right margin. Centered headings get dashes on both sides, line by line |
| Page number | [1], [2]… small and centered in the footer |
| Closing formula | In Spanish, attached to the text and never alone on a new page. It states the target language and the original's language, how many pages the translation has (in figures and in words), and the city and the date, with the day in words. Your signature goes below it |
| Certificate | The general EZDocuAI certificate isn't added: the closing formula is the certification |
| Printing | Single-sided: no back pages are added |
With this template, the translation also follows the style of a traducción pública:
- one item per line, with its label (“Last name: …”);
- surnames and given names in CAPITAL LETTERS;
- translator's notes always in square brackets ([Seal: …], [Signature]), even if you have a different Visual element notation in Settings;
- the text of each seal in a single paragraph;
- anything written in another alphabet, transliterated;
- centered headings and no tables.
Before you start: your city
The city in the closing comes from the address in the profile of the person who approves the translation (if nobody approved it, from the assigned person or whoever created the order). In an individual account it's in Settings → Profile → Address. If there's no city, the closing leaves a blank line “____________” to fill in by hand.
How to turn it on

- Go to Formatting and, in EZDocu templates, filter by Certified.
- On the version you use, click Add to my menu. Your copy is created, already pinned. If you want to change something in it, use Duplicate.
- If you always use it, mark it with Set as default: it will be preselected when you prepare orders.
- In a new order, in Upload & Details, turn on Apply a format and choose the Argentine template.
- Click Analyze & Continue. In Review, under Choose format, click the button with the template's name.
- Click Continue to Translation, review the translation and click Finish Order.
- Choose PDF or DOCX. If you're asked for the original, turn on Attach original document (PDF only) and choose At the beginning or At the end. Each page of the original is fitted to the translation's A4 page, centered and without distortion.
If you're going to sign the PDF with your token, turn off Digital signature & protection before downloading.
How it looks in Word
- The dashes are actually typed out up to the margin, without tabs: they look the same in Microsoft Word and in Google Docs.
- There's no letter spacing, so each line is the same length in the editor, in the PDF and in the Word file.
- The page number [n] is automatic: if Word repaginates, it updates.
- The page count stated in the closing is calculated at export, so it matches in the PDF and in the Word file.
If you later change a line in Word, check its dashes: they're text and don't readjust by themselves.
If you delivered a PDF and later need the Word file, download it from the order with Download Word. We explain it in Document delivery options.
What you can change
The EZDocuAI template can't be edited: to change something, use Duplicate and edit your copy. In it you can change, for example, the text of the closing or the Back of each page setting, in Document rules. What you can't do is take the font, the dashes or the closing from the original: in this template they always come from the template.
Everything else about formats (header, numbering, assistant) is in Formats.
FAQ
Why isn't the EZDocuAI certificate included? With this template, the closing formula is the certification. That's why it isn't added even if Include Certificate is on when you finish.
Where does the city in the closing come from? From the address in the profile of the person who approves the translation. If there isn't one, a blank line appears for you to fill in.
Can I add my registration number (tomo y folio)? The built-in closing doesn't include it. In your copy you can write {matricula} in the formula: it shows your Certification / Member Number from the Professional Profile or, if that's empty, “Tº ____ Fº ____” to fill in by hand.
Arial or Times New Roman? They're identical except for the font: choose the one you use.
I don't see the option with the template in Review. You have to turn on Apply a format and choose it when preparing the order, before Analyze & Continue.
