Review and edit the document before delivering it
After reading your document, EZDocuAI shows it to you in an editor next to the original. There you correct the text, the margins, the font and the pages before delivering it. Changes are saved automatically: above the panel you'll see Saving… and then Saved.
Before editing: two notices
Small image. If you upload an image whose longest side is under 1100 pixels, you'll see: “This image is small (width × height px): some numbers, grades or codes may be hard to read. If you can, upload a sharper or larger version. Otherwise, we will ask you about anything doubtful before translating.” It doesn't block you.
Verify document. If some details couldn't be read with certainty when the document was read, Verify document opens:
- On the left is the original, with a marker on each uncertain detail.
- On the right, under Verification, each detail shows what was Detected and a field to type the correction.
- Click Confirm to apply your corrections, or Skip to keep what was read.
If you skip, you can correct any detail later in the editor.
The Review editor

- On the left, the ORIGINAL, with zoom and Rotate document. On the right, the document you're going to deliver.
- Scroll sync is on by default: when you scroll one panel, the other one moves too, page by page. Click it to turn it off.
- Choose format switches between the options your document has: Option 1, Option 2, Option 3 and, with a format template, Option 4, which shows the template's name.
- In Option 1 the document is a Word file: click Edit, make your changes and save them with Save & close. The tools below belong to the editor for Options 2 and 3.
Margins and ruler
- The Margins button offers As in the original, Normal, Narrow, Moderate, Wide and Custom margins...: there you enter the Top, Bottom, Left and Right margins and click Apply. They apply to every page and can be undone with Ctrl+Z.
- The ruler above the page has one marker for the left margin and another for the right: drag them to change the margin on every page. You show or hide it with Show ruler.
- You choose the unit with in | cm, next to the zoom. By default, inches for Letter and Legal and centimeters for other paper sizes. Your choice is remembered in this browser.
- If the text doesn't fit with the new margins, a notice offers Adjust margins, which reduces them just enough.
- The margins you set in Review carry over to the translation.
Font and line spacing for the whole document
- Apply to the whole document (the typography button) changes the Font for the whole document, the Size for the whole document or the Line height for the whole document in one go. It doesn't touch the header or the footer.
- Line height goes from 0.5 to 3, and with Custom line height, from 0.5 to 5. 1.0 is single spacing in Word and Google Docs.
- Only fonts that look the same in Word and in Google Docs are offered.
- With a format template (Option 4), the template sets the font and the margins: those buttons don't appear.
Chinese, Japanese and Korean

Text in Chinese, Japanese or Korean is shown with fonts that Word and Google Docs also have, so it looks the same in the editor, in the PDF and in the Word file. The original's system fonts (Malgun Gothic, MS Mincho, SimSun…) are automatically replaced with their equivalent.
If you translate into or from one of those languages, Adapt the font size for Chinese, Japanese or Korean appears when you create the order. Into those languages, the font grows by up to 15% and lines are spaced up to 25% further apart; from them, the font shrinks by up to 13% and the space between lines by up to 20%. It never goes past the edge of the page. The default value is in Settings, on the Translated document card.
Pages, page breaks and pagination
- In Option 2, each page is a page of the original. If you type and the text no longer fits, the overflow moves to a new page right after it, just like in Word. Tables are split by rows.
- Blank spaces are edited like empty lines in Word: click in the gap and use Delete or Backspace to pull up what's below, or Enter to push it down one line.
- In the Translation step, the Pagination button decides what happens when the translation takes up less space than the original:
- Keep the original pages: the same pages; the leftover space is spread between the paragraphs.
- Fit to the target language: the text flows from one page to the next and leftover pages are removed. A page with images, seals or a fixed background stays as in the original. If the number of pages changes, a notice asks you to check the page numbering in the footer.
- Each order's pagination is chosen when you create it; the account's, in Settings, on the Translated document card.
Before translating: languages, repeated information and translator's note
When you click Continue to Translation, if there's something to decide, a window opens:
- We found more than one language: choose Keep original, Translate everything into… or Choose which. Whatever you keep in its language is copied exactly as it appears.
- We found repeated information (a detail in two languages or scripts): Keep just one or Keep all versions.
- With Keep just one, Add translator’s note may appear. The note goes at the end of the document, in the target language. You can edit it; if you delete it, no note is added.
- Dates and figures: Adapt to the target country or Keep the original format. With Leave as is you keep a specific value. ID numbers, case file numbers and phone numbers are copied digit by digit.
Click Translate to continue.
Finish and deliver

- In the Translation step, click Finish Order.
- Choose the Export format: PDF or DOCX.
- In Output options, leave Include Certificate on if the delivery includes it, and choose the template in Certificate. With PDF you also have Attach original document (At the beginning or At the end), Digital signature & protection (turn it off if you'll sign with your token) and Human Verified seal.
- Click Download PDF or Download DOC. Credits used shows what it cost; it was charged when the review started.
Before delivering, EZDocuAI checks page by page. If any page would come out untranslated, you'll see Some pages are not translated: click Go back and review or Deliver anyway. If your role can't finish orders, you'll see Send for review, which notifies someone who can finish it.
FAQ
Will I lose my changes if I close the tab? No. In Options 2 and 3 they're saved as you edit; in Option 1, when you click Save & close. To come back, open the order and click Continue Order.
Why don't I see the Margins button? Because you're in Option 1 (Word) or in Option 4, where the template sets the margins.
The translation came out shorter and there are almost-empty pages. In the Translation step, click Pagination and choose Fit to the target language.
Can I change the font of the whole document at once? Yes, with Apply to the whole document › Font for the whole document.
